Lothian Wine School Terms & Conditions
Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and tastings must be paid for in advance.
All bookings are refundable up to 2 weeks prior to the event date.
Up to 1 week prior to the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course/tasting, send a substitute, or receive a refund voucher that may be used for payment against another course/tasting.
Within 1 week of the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course, send a substitute. No refunds will be provided.
If you do not attend a booked course or event, no refund will apply except under exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Lothian Wine School.
On the 8-week Introductory World Tour, and the short 4 or 5 week courses – if you elect to miss an evening (minimum one week's notice) you may either send a substitute, pick up the missed session on a subsequent course, or obtain a credit value valid towards full or part payment to attend any of our other Courses and Tastings.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event.
WSET bookings are refundable up to 3 weeks before the start date for level 2, and 4 weeks for level 3.
For Corporate Tastings a deposit of 50% is payable 30 days prior to Tasting date. Should the event be cancelled or rearranged after this point you will be liable for any costs incurred by the wine school.
The remaining balance will be invoiced after the event, but final numbers must be confirmed no later than 48 hours before the event. Cancellations after this point will still be charged for.
For Private Tastings a deposit of 50% is payable 30 days prior to Tasting date, and the full balance must be received no later than 48 hours before the event. Cancellations after this point will still be charged for.
We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.
We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
